Tiago Camargo is the head of the Digital Law and Data Protection practice at IWRCF and is also a member of the Contracts practice.
Lawyer graduated from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (2009), he holds postgraduate degrees in Contract Law from Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa (INSPER, 2013) and in Digital Law (2016), Contract Design (2017) and Data Protection (2018) from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (GV-Law).
He has a broad experience in his practice areas, especially in issues related to contracts, digital law, data protection and franchising.
He is regarded by clients for his practical and timely advice on complex matters in his practice areas.
He is an active member of the Legal Informatics Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association, of the legal committee of the Brazilian Association of Franchising (Associação Brasileira de Franchising – ABF) and a VP and board member of the Brazilian Chamber of E-Commerce (Câmara Brasileira de Comércio Eletrônico – camara-e.net).
He is recognized by national publications (Análise 500) for his skills in negotiating and drafting corporate contracts.
Attorney with a bachelor’s degree from the University of São Paulo (USO, 2019) and a graduate degree in Digital Law by the Rio de Janeiro State University (UERJ) in partnership with the Society and Technology Institute (ITS) (2022). Currently pursuing a master´s degree in Philosophy and General Theory of Law at the University of São Paulo (USP).
She has experience as a cybersecurity advisor, having worked for big companies with emphasis in privacy and data protection law.
